Belart sells wholesale, Fair Trade jewelry and products, designed in Vermont in collaboration with artisans in South America and Southeast Asia. Our work interweaves traditional art forms with contemporary designs, bringing people and cultures together through our dedication to Fair Trade.

Belart is committed to creating sustainable products and to giving back to the world and the communities where we work. The proceeds from several of our lines go entirely to social causes, after taxes, customs and shipping.

Our Social Projects Include:
  1. Tagua/Green Ivory Keychains: 100% of proceeds (after taxes and US customs’ duties) go to fighting against ivory poaching and to saving endangered elephants and the white rhino.

  2. Tagua/Green Ivory Bracelet For Education: 100% of proceeds (after taxes and US customs’ duties) go to education, specifically to supporting education for girls who often lack access to an education simply because they are girls. Belart partners with Colombian-born Shakira and her education foundation: Bare Feet / Fundacion Pies Descalzos and with the Trinity School for Street Children in Cali, Colombia.

  3. Spiral Açai Bracelet: 100% of proceeds (after taxes and US customs’ duties) go to Vermont’s PAVE, whose mission is to end domestic and sexual violence and to provide supportive and educational services to individuals, families and the community.

  4. Tagua Keychains: 100% of proceeds (after taxes and US customs’ duties) go to the non-GMO movement, supporting Vermont’s non-GMO Fund for fighting the lawsuits that Monsanto and other larger corporations have been filing against Vermont.

  5. “Linked Together” Two Links Necklace: (a Belart -Aleja partnership)  handmade-hand-casted bronze necklace: 100% of proceeds (after taxes and US customs’ duties) go to Doctors Without Borders / Medecin Sans Frontieres to aid the refugee crisis in Syria and around the world.
